We were interested in talking a look an 8.55 PUM image, and noticed when we downloaded the files from Oracle the usual ova_gen.bat file was missing.
Oracle provides instructions to run a power script: Quick Start Reference for PeopleSoft Update Images on PeopleTools 8.55 ~ before heading over there a few things that always got me:
Error running .\psft-dpk-setup.ps1 ~ "Platform is not supported in this release."
I found that when you unzip the 1st folder that you download in DPK install:
it's unzipped contents need to exist on the root of C:\dpk_Install to run correctly.
so you would run the script in C:\dpk_install\setup\psft-dpk-setup.ps1
